On the 25th September I entered the Photography Competition at Belfast Zoo.

Last saturday night I got a phone call from home, telling me that one of my photos, that I entered in the Belfast Zoo Competition, has been short listed. But I didn't know which one.

So today, I went along to the Zoo, to the small award Ceremony. They start with the category for 'Best Photo by Zoo Vistor', which was the category that I entered. There were five photos short listed. I was excited and nervous, as the Zoo manager began the slide show of the photos. The first two photos to be announced, were Highly Recommended, and both times I excepted to see my photo. But it wasn't there.

3rd place was announced, and still no photo. When 2nd place was announced, and my photo didn't appear, I couldn't keep the smile of my face.
